Command Sergeant Major Theo DeHoyos is a native of Dallas, Texas. He graduated from the Korean Basic Course at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center and Goodfellow Air Force Base, Texas in 2002, as a 35P.
Command Sgt. Maj. DeHoyos has served as a Squad Leader, SOT-A Team Sergeant, Drill Sergeant, Platoon Sergeant, Detachment NCOIC, Senior SIGINT NCOIC, Special Operations Command South Joint Intelligence Directorate Senior Enlisted Leader, First Sergeant, and G2 Sergeant Major at HQ INSCOM, and Battalion Command Sergeant Major.

DeHoyos’ assignments include 2nd Infantry Division Camp Hovey, South Korea; 311th MI BN Fort Campbell, Kentucky; 204th MI BN Fort Bliss, Texas; 344th MI BN Goodfellow Air Force Base, Texas; 2nd BN 7th Special Forces Group Fort Liberty, North Carolina; 229th MI BN, Presidio of Monterey, CA; 707th MI BN Fort Eisenhower, Georgia; Special Operations Command South Homestead, Florida, HQ INSCOM Fort Belvoir, VA; and 204th MI BN, Fort Bliss, Texas.
Command Sgt. Maj. DeHoyos’ education and training include Basic Leader’s Course, Advanced Leader’s Course, Senior Leader’s Course, First Sergeant’s Course, Master Driver Course, Combat Life Saver Course, Combatives Level 1, SERE School, Drill Sergeant School, Air Assault School, Airborne School, and U.S. Army Sergeants Major Course, Class 70. Command Sgt. Maj.
